New Apple requirements regarding HTTP/2‑based Apple Push Notification service

Because of new Apple requirements for Push notifications on iOS, some libraries on your server must be on a mimimum version. Here are the concerned libraries:

  • lib-curl >= 7.46.0 (with http/2 support enabled)
  • lib-openssl >= 1.0.2e

If you have a message on the dashboard of your Siberian backoffice informing that you have to upgrade those libraries, here are the different solutions:

– You know how to update these libs and you update them by yourself.

– You don’t know how to update them: you need to ask your server support.

– You cannot update them on your distribution: you must install a more recent distribution on your server (eg: Debian 8 > Debian 10). You will have to back up your Siberian, change the distribution of your server, then restore your Siberian.

For that you can use our Migration service.

Note: for Debian 10 , if you want VestaCP, you must get it from this fork: https://www.myvestacp.com/
